Re: Need help with a part.

OK don't take this the wrong way but you should have placed this in the emisions section under TUNING / SMOG If you are having problems with the stock valve there is 2 ways to go about fixing it if you "can't" find the part. 1: Pull the thing off and remove it compleatly. 2: If you live in...

Re: 88 2.0L Idle Problem

#1 is the valve. The first gen uses a simpler system. You can always test by pluging the rubber line that goes to the air cleaner. Pull the thing off and cap the end that goes to the valve. See how she runs then.

Re: Theoretical question :

Galvinizers are easy to find. Look in the wellow pagers. There is not that many of them left because of the EPA. So it's going to be a realy big company. At least thats all we have left in California. It would be best if you could find one and go there talk to some one, get a tour of the place and t...

Re: Sawzall or cut-off wheel

I like the panel cutter attchment for the air hammer. That way you can get a nice big dent, rip, and pile of shit where you start plowing your way through the sheet metal.

Re: Lowering shall begin!

Take your time. Save the money. And do it right. You don't want to end up in the sawZall section... It's a new section and it's for the guy that just screws up the truck. Hell my truck would have been there untell they seen how It's going. I think we need an offroad section.

Re: Theoretical question :

Just tell the powder coat guy to shoot inside the box. It will cover the hole inside. By the time it rusts out you would probaly have found another frame and have restored it by then. If you realy wanted to slow down rust then send the frame out to a place that does galvinazing. Now that is somthing...

Re: 88 Dodge Power Ram 50

I took my manual and dismantled it. Manley because it was falling apart any way. Then I ran each section throught my scanner and put it up on my server. If you don't want to dismantal it or pay someone to scan each page then you might want to just do it one section at a time. Take your time on it. T...

Re: Lowering shall begin!

That would depend on how low you go. the amount of deflection from stock would be min. Look in the rear end section under stock engine and power train, for a post about pinion angles. It helps you to under stand what to look for.
