Re: WTB, Info needed, Overhead console, light, mirror pod?

I have a set of map lights i got out of a crown vic I think. It has built in clips so it just clips into the headliner. Has 3 lights on it. Isuzu rodeos and troopers had map lights in them as well you might be able to use. Here's some pics. I never got around to putting it in so its been sitting in ...

Re: HID kit ideas

I got all of my stuff off of ebay. All you need is some 6x7 i think? (double check on that) housings and an HID kit. Mine was a xentec brand. Get dual xenon if you want high and low beam. Mine are single but their so bright I don't really need high beams hahaha. Just make sure you get the right bulb...

Re: steering stops

yeah i was worried about overloading the tie rods. Hopefully someone will chime in. Needing 3 lanes to make a u-turn sucks. hopefully I can adjust them out a bit. Drift angle ftw

steering stops

So I was under my truck the other day and I noticed there are steering rack stops built into the frame. Is there any disadvantage to adjusting these out a bit for more angle?

Re: ever had this drink?

I've had the original redbull from thailand, it's way different than the redbull we have here. Its not carbonated at all and its more sweet. Never heard of DNA but they have Jolt in S.C and its badass too.

Re: isuzu build thread

not sure. I didn't weigh anything and most of it is at the dump now haha. The whole thing feels different but I haven't driven it in so long I can't really tell right now.

Re: isuzu build thread

well its done. I have to say the msd box helped me gain a lot of torque. First test launch with the 2 step leads me to believe I need a limited slip diff and some new tires but all in all im very happy. Still need to trim the switch panel though, damn my laziness. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y1...

Re: isuzu build thread

It's almost ready. The only thing I have left to do is hook up my tag lights, wipers, trim the switch panel, and clean some stuff up and it'll be daily driver again. http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y147/lethalethan/SSPX1472.jpg?t=1269292961 http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y147/lethalethan/SSPX1473....

Re: UPS delivered a goodie bag... Well Box...

I have almost these exact lights in my isuzu and I love em. Only time I have a problem is during the rain the HID's aren't great but even then I can still see. The projectors are fake though and there is no cutoff line. I have a set of projectors I thought about retro fitting in but I haven't tried ...

Re: Aftermarket gauges

electrical ftw! only downside is you'll pay a lot more for electrical vs. mechanical. You wont be able to use factory senders but most gauges come with the correct sending unit. Most aftermarket senders will interchange too. Like I used my autometer sending unit with my prosport water temp gauge

Re: leaf springs

If you go to stiff you can create an “under steer” and the back end will come around on you nearly every time you get into a corner. this would be over steer not under steer. Now with almost nearly every car out there on the road today they "push" in the corner stock from the factory. If ...

Re: aluminum radiator

If you can find one with the inlet and outlets in the right spot you wont have a problem even if you cant just get some aftermarket stainless hoses like I have on mine. The rad I have is made for a 240sx and the inlet and outlet are opposite of what I needed, so I just found some nice long hoses on ...
