i remember on the old mightyd50 site some one found an electric fuel pump that had the right psi for a weber so you didnt need a regulator. anyone know what one it is? also whats the recomended fuel pressure for a weber?

4 psi,, i used a Mr.Gasket pump last fall for mine
$55 give or take
pumps push better than draw so put it closer to the tank as you can
the best place might be to place it where the fuel filter is then
move the filter to the fire wall next to the carb
and an oil pressure switch before the pump is a good idea too

The oil pressure safety switch is a 3 prong switch with a common, NO(nornally open) and a NC (normally closed ) lug. With no oil pressure, the pump does not run, unless there is power on the NC side of the switch. This lug (NC) gets hooked to the starter solenoid. The NO side of the switch is hooked to a +12 volt power source. the common lug goes through a fuse and to the + side of the pump. This protects the motor by shutting off fuel to the engine when there is no oil pressure, including rollovers or side rolls and oil pump failures. The part I use is from an 76-79 4 cyl vega, I will post a part number in a later post. You will need a metric adaptor, as this is a standard 1/8 npt part. This should be part of any retrofit to electric pump install to prevent fires and engine damage. Drawing also to come.

I was running a 4 psi mallory pump but wasn't getting enough flow at wot so I went to a holley 7 psi pump - works better with my weber. Webers like hi flow pumps even more than pressure so make sure it is an 80+ gph pump.
