my fbc and non fbc mikunis are crap so im just wanting to buy a new carb. which one is the best for the money? i figure the weber 36/38 is the best but i want another opinion

i like my 32/36...with a 32/36 on a g52b with a 5 spd and 3.909 gears i get about 30mpg at 60 mpg

Doesn't Weber's site recommend a 32/36 DFEV for the G54B?

Yes that is the recommended carb, although there is a 34 ded that is an emissions carb also. I have had a weber on my 1980 d-50 since 1983, the real trick is to rejet it to your truck for best performance and economy.

Well my dumbass sold two Weber carbs since I wasn't going to use the g54b. I have a complete 4g63 on the stand. Well I'm sick of seeing the truck sit...so gonna do quick rebuild. Guess what I have to buy now? A friggin' carb. AGH!
