Jet valves are an emissions piece added to the heads to create a swirl port condition at up to 1/2 throttle for more complete combustion. Once a weber with an adaptor plate is installed, the jet valves are done, with no air flow to them at all. The true advantage to the non jet head is the elimination of the head cracking around the jet valve cartridge. If you have to change the head, use a non jet head; but if your original head is good, use it. For oiling mods for non jet heads go to this site: http://b2600turbo.com/
