Gas tank relocation

Gas tank relocation

Postby maddmax » Fri Jul 10, 2009 7:19 am

I hope this is in the right place. I was wondering if anyone has ever relocated the factory gas tank from its original location to the rear of the differential ? Seems like it would distribute the weight a little better and add to the traction of the rear wheels. It just seems to make sense. :?:

After I bodylifted my truck I lifted my gas tank about 3in less susceptible to damage. and it was rather easy to do, dont think you could do it unless you had a BL tho.
