3.0 rebuild

I'm rebuilding a 3L and remember reading about installing wrist pins wrong in the pistons. I thought it was on one of these forums but I can't find it. If anyone knows the proper way to install them, let me know. It was something about not pressing them in but heating them first or something like that. Maybe the other way around. This engine had a knock and I've inspected everything in the bottom end and haven't found anything that would cause it. Only thing left is the pins. This engine was rebuilt already and started to knock after less than 1k miles.
