Valve Stem Seals

As the title said How to replace those without goin to the machine shop? :)

Pretty easy but time consuming. Strip the valvetrain from the head, remove spark plugs,use compressed air to hold the valves closed, remove springs and seals and replace. In place of a compressor you can feed some small nylon rope into the cylinder and rotate the crank to bring the piston up against the rope and the bottom of the valves.

yea i have a air compressor to do that with thats a great idea and how do take out the valve stem seals and put them in?

Keep in mind you will use a lot of air.
