I used a starion trans, the shifter position is 3inches back so it doesn't line up with the hole in the floor...
2.6 Soon to be megasquirted and turbooooooooed.

I'm pretty sure that it would fit on the starion tranny considering the starion tail end fits on the mighty max tranny. It wouldn't make sense for it to be cross compatable one way but not the other lol.
