they had a good wealth of diesel tech anyone know why the site dosent work?

there are a few diesel heads here. what be the issue your needing help with????? as far as the other site i think it is done, jerry has not fixed it yet and i havent heard if it ever will be.

that sucks, they had a lota info on there....... but on the other side is anyone into putting together our own tech section for the 4d55 and 4d56? iv found a few things on the net, and some basic stuff in the factory manual..... but theres power in numbers so lets see what we can compile? any chance the info from mightyd50 could be recovered?

I recently swapped out a 2.6l from my 89 power ram to a 2.3l diesel and the guys over there were a wealth of knowledge. I had the page bookmarked and would go there every day. Now I can still access the info through my bookmark, but it gives me all kinds of flags telling me it is an attack site. I have printed all the information that I think I will need in the future, like Mikes info on timing the pump and various info that Spence and other have put on. Hope the other info doesn't disappear but for now I can still get to it all.

well ya know mike and i are here as far as spence im uncertain. i put a 2.3 in my raider it was a fairly strait forward swap with 2 rebuilds on that motor too.ugh

any chance you could post that info on the injector pump timing dave? im in the process of rebuilding my TD04 turbo... waiting on the kit but after that im gunna look into some tuning ect ect , what are the site rules for posting PDF's of manuals? i found a site on google that has a crap load of info....

There aren't any specific site rules when it comes to posting. But best to just post the LINK to the manual... We do have a "Source Manual" forum available for Supporters! Just FYI!

That's funny! Those lil 2.3 diesels pretty reliable, fuel efficent, and/or peppy? Just curious. Sorry to be off topic.
