Ice Road Truckers

Anyone else watch this show? The wife and I got hooked after the first season. Now I'm really interested! I wonder if the Army would let me go TDY (temp duty) to do the show. I grew up in a rig and in Upstate Ny. I'm currently a truckdriver in the Army but to be honest, I'd love the challenge of trying to complete a season. It would be good PR for the Army and possibly be good for ratings for the show. Man, I'm about half serious to contact the History Channel.

Do it... a Petty officer friend of mine tried out for American Idol and got a spot to hollywood. The Navy sent him TDY to Hollywood!
