4x4 fender flares

So, are the fender flares on the 2nd gen 4x4 trucks bolt on (like to the stock fender) or were they a totally separate part (not like the 2x4 fenders) also the same question for the bed? and how much wider are the fender flared fenders than stock? (pics if any one has some)

NO, the 4x4 fenders have holes to mount the flares.

I had to cut the plastic tabs and used 3M tape to mount on my rear flares on my 2wd truck. It won't stick out as far from the fender like the 4x4 though.

Here's a pic of my rear flares with the rockers.
