dodge/chrysler used the Mitsu 3.0 v6 in their minivans for a few years, and also in some of their passenger cars. They would all be fwd config, and may have a different trans bolt pattern. I read a forum where some guy had used a donor motor from a caravan in his MM and had no probs. They also used a 2.5 DOHC version of the v6 in the Stratus, and it put out decent numbers and was very reliable. BTW, Mitsu's original v6 was only 2.0, but a couple of Japanese tuners got close to 200 ponies out of it. :ugeek:

They came in a lot of things, just look for a 3.0 12valver, outside of that you'd have to do some wiring

If you're willing to spend the time and money on a V6, why not invest in a 6G74 out of a Montero? I've seen engine and trans combo's for less than 1K, they make decent torque and the power delivery would be nice in a light pick up.
