dakota 5.2L smokes

hey guys im gonna buy a 94 dakota with a 318 and it smokes blue but only once its hot, when it fired up at first it was just normal. would you guess rings or valve seals? it seemed to have lots of power

Rings, valve guides and seals will give a belch of smoke when you first fire the truck up.
