spx news alert

Postby streetfighter » Tue Dec 28, 2010 1:39 am

to get right to it ive decided to embark on what i consider the greatest adventure ever!!!!!. ive completed stage 1 and 2 of my transformation and hope to be done soon. so far ive acid bathed, board cyl .030 over, balanced my rotating assembly, lightened my fly wheel, had my crank shaft micro polished and purchased all new pistons, bearings for rods and crankshaft, mild cam shaft, balance shaft eliminator kit , arp head studs, a Marnal head assembly (with stainless valves and hd springs), new oil pump, new aluminum radiator, msd ignition, and complete engine gasket kit im pretty sure ive left a few things out considering there's a shit ton of stuff involved. my next step is a little port matching and polishing if any body has a few word of encouragement involving helping my rebuild go faster with tricks and tips i would greatly appreciate it thanks to all that have help with this process

Also wouldn't hurt to convert to an electric fan. ;)

yea the engine is a 2.6 thank for getting my gears spinning again ill do a little research see what i can find as far as piston squirters and oil cooler.
i really do want to convert it to electric fan but like everything else its really hard to find a good little package. i found the radiator from a company called racetep and they're the only ones that ive seen to have anything remotely close but if you have an idea as to where i can find one let me know thanks for the feed back

My truck is running a fal or flex a light fan. I had a leftover one from my old 92 civic build that I sold. Took off a lot of parts and replaced it with stock parts and blew the motor. Head was good, trans was good, told the guy all he had to do was find another 1.8 integra gsr block and he could flip the car for more cash. But yeah, some guys around here grab any electric fans from the junk yard and wire it up. I seen tarus, mines was Honda, a few others.

you could also go with a montero/ raider radiator its a 3 core vs your 2 core on the pickups.
