The limited slip rear end are oem in the 4x4 models as well as older monteros 4x4. Didn't want to make a thread in the wanted section? Or are you just looking for information?

Looking for info as to what is better OEM or any aftermarket solutions.
Can't get much better then oem. You can always swap the rear end for aftermarket support. The ford explorer 8.8 rear end is a popular setup. Rear disc brakes and LSD. Also the Toyota rear end swap is another option. A little more narrow and more work then just a custom driveshaft. If not then a Mitsubishi LSD with the factory drum.
