Pull the stock wheels of the D50 today, taking them to my brother's house tomorrow and swapping him for a set of old school aluminum mags off his Luv.

Got the timing chain and cover and stuff back on my new macro cab. Now tomorrow I need to get the head and head gasket along with everything else back on it so I can get it running.

Yesturday I got some used Oem dsm cams and cam gears for 80. The cams I got have too much overlap to run the oem fuelmaps and the set idle are too low. Cause a loopy idle and idle vac down to a sopping 9inhg. Doesn't wanna idle. And the cam gears I got are adjustible so I'm not sure how to read tdc on these yet.

Couldn't you just use adjustable gears or put the teeth one off or so??
What size cams are they?

They are webcam 546/547 grind at 272 duration with a little bit too much overlap. I don't understand the whole degree the cams stuff, so for now Ima put the oem cams in until I can get a means to raise the idle using the aftermarket cams.

Last night my battery died in my talon while I was at walmart. The ground wire I got is corroded really bad. Cut off about 4 inches of wire and still got corrosion in the wire. Bought a new terminal from walmart and took the optima battery out of the truck so I can drive around. Maybe tomorrow or Sunday I will replace the ground wire and add a few extra grounds for support on the talon.

Still waiting on parts for the truck in the meantime.
