Carburetor finally arrived today

. Started to install it, did some other things before carb came in. Had to stop, I have to look at my pictures to see how the washer and cotter pin go on the shaft for the kickdown for the auto trans, hopefully I can finish it tomorrow night.

Got the carb installed, found the cotter pin hole on the trans kick down, I knew it had to have a hole, put some hair around it and it fit right in, it was hitten underneath. Got it started and it ran well but once it warmed up it had a dead spot taken off slowly and would stall, Idle a little low, so some small adjustments are needed. Will play with it some more over the weekend.

Yep Mike, I am going to put the 2nd filter on, I will double check the fuel also, it runs great cold, need to make sure the vacumn lines are in the correct spots, I just put them on like I found them, but I'll check it with the book. Sorry to read about your dad, hope he will be ok.

Well I got the Truck Running Again, Thought It Was the Timing, Carb., Dist., But it ended up being the Coil!

So I'm Driving It Down to The Show In Millington Tn. Saturday, Wish Me luck!

Mow some yards, while the Mrs mowed I decided to take another look at the fuel, discolored still has rust in the tank, so I'll have a Bud and decide what to do next, I did blow some air though, aw well. Its a holiday weekend.

I too need to find a eclipse steering wheel.

Yesterday (one day I do soemthing I forget to brag about it here) welded in rad support, sanded, primed fenders, and destriped truck.

Today Im hoping to mount grill and headlights run some wires and sit on my ass, rippin off stripes was a miserable SOB job yesterday

i got a 5 speed installed with new clutch kit, and FINALLY tinted my windows....5% is alot darker than i expected...i like it. all this was on the macro cab, the 4x4 is still tore apart waiting to get the 8 lug axles put in

My eclipse steering wheel is falling apart. Leather tore off on one side about the size of a half dollar.
