junk yard visit

Went to the local upullit yard to look for a subaru motor- no luck. But I could not believe the amount of good vehicles that were in the yard due to cfc deals! A 93 Dodge RAM f/s club cab with a cummins td with only 124000 mi on it; spotless underhood and interior, only needed rocker on drivers side. enploders and ranger pickups, even lexus and mercedes 300es. What a waste- they clunkered them to make the sale not to fit the criteria. The really bad vehicles are still on the road because the owners can't afford to trade them.
Opinions?

You can be a car salesman. Buy a car, fix and resell.

I work at a dealership and almost cried over all the perfectly good vehicles that had to be trashed. The nicest I think was an 04 GMC Envoy with 124k on it, spotless inside and out, but it got turned in so we had to lock the engine up and scrap it.
