you say your head is warped it can be resurfaced but i think only 2x and it is junk there are no service limits on the heads but thru discussion it can be done. you just have to watch the valve protrusion. and if it is not an option,im sure mike will in soon....

Does that mean you can put the 4D56 roller rockers into a 4D55?
What would need to be changed? Camshaft, rockers, and valves? Anything else?

Yes they are compatible. To put the roller rockers you need the roller rock camshaft as well.

oh sure you can get them new, from china.

i can't order off of ebay so i'm scerwed there so i guess i'll have to negociate with with anyone who has one, and yes thank you i know a 4d56 head would work and i would have tryed that if i could find one, there just as un-common as a 4d55

btw 300$ is a tad steep ya think?

i'll give you 200$ for the head and a few bolts, no rockers, no cam, no cover, no injectors. hell no valves and springs if you wana go through the trouble of taken them off and i want pictures before i start sending money anywhere

It was only going to include valves and springs. And the bolts you needed to.

You see how hard they are to find. I can't go lower. Mitsubishi has 1 new one in stock. The wholesale cost is $1100 for a bare head with only cambearings.

Go to car-part.com. If yours isnt an 83 head there are 2 on there. You can try to haggle with them. You should have bought Joe Dirts head. He got $149 just for the cam!
