hard start after a few days

Decided to start from the begining, so I replaced the computer. After getting the refurbished computer put in it starts and runs like a top. Why it wouldn't start, but run well after a minute or 2 is beyond me. The moral is, if it is something really weird, replace the computer.

the fuel pump in this truck is NOT supposed to cycle on when the key is turned to the ON position. It only runs when you turn it to start then stays on

yea, i should have known that too,,,,,that is how my conquest is........there should be a jumper wire to the fuel pump under the hood may put a little push button setup on it for testing purpose.
