Greetings from S.D.
Just got my little truck a few weeks ago really like it. The carb was bad so I put on a Weber 36/32. Works really well, thought my gas mileage would be a little better [ about 20, is that about right for a 2.6 4x4 5 speed ? ]. I cut out all the vacuum hoses to the carb, plugging ends up, but I'm wondering if I cut a couple to many, reading across the internet it seams people are saying that they completely cut out all the emissions crap with the vacuum line totally removed except the one on the Weber. Sure love some answers so my Mitsee [ always name my cars , bikes, grandma had a mean little dog named Mitsee ] can run at her finest.
Im happy theres such a group as yours, and even happier to be a member, God bless you folks
