Got a few questions..actually alot!

Okay, the carb needs replaced or rebuilt, i'm going with rebuilding it myself but, got any tips on that and where can I find a full carb rebuild kit? Also I want to do a SAS and put a transfer case on it so it'll be 4x4 (its the 2.0 and an 86 btw), what kind of stock rear axle is on it? It's my dads and I need something to do this summer (i'm 15, and i'm purdy good with tinkering on stuff, plus it's just sitting there....rusting) also would about 26"-28" tires be to much for the motor and trans? I plan to go leafs up front as well (simplicity) and I know i'd need to change the gearing(4:88 or so). When done(only God knows) it'll be a hunting truck but, still driving to town some as well. To top it off it'll be sanded, primed, and painted(hunter green with clear coat) with spray paint probably. If anyone can help me out and point me in the right direction and possibly give me some links, info, and such it'd me much appreciative. Thanks in advance! ;)

I know but, i'm a fast learner and love to tinker on engines (no matter wether its R/C nitro motors, small engines, or 4 wheelers and such, this would be my first automobile. I can't seem to find which weber carb kit fits the 86' 2.0L and I would want it with emissions. First stage is clean it up, re-sand the hood and prime it (as my bro never did and let it rust) and rebuild the carb or get a weber to get it up and running! ;)

Stock tire height on the 2wd is 26", so 4.88s aren't necessary. Stock gears are 3.55; to get steeper gears check out axles from the monteros. For the weber carb, go with the 34 cec model, it is an emissions carb to a point, but still will fail a CA visual inspection.

Thanks man! ;) and glad I don't live in CA and in NC instead! :D and the stock tires he had on it don't look no where close to 28" (it was the 2wd version) though he has aftermarket rims and tires there like the same size as stock that he had on it before but they look the same as these and thats also the same body style (in the link below).

I like the chevy 6 lug rims some people put on. The Caddy rims are pretty sweet too. Hub boring is necessary though. My truck came with 4 runner rims when I got it.
