Newbie with a diesel

I am new to MightyRam50. I have one of the older style pickups with a 4d55 diesel engine. I haven't driven it for about a year and a half but I have been firing it up about every month or so to keep it in running condition. At times I have thought about selling it but it gets good fuel milage. I haven't registered it for over a year, but I was thinking of getting up and running again in the next few weeks unless the right offer came along. A good friend helped me with the engine. The engine runs strong but the rest of the drivetrain is in pieces. I have been doing most all the work myself over the past year and so the going is slow. It's also been slow because I am having a very hard time finding the correct parts. It needs to have a flywheel, clutch, trans, tcase and drive shafts installed. I've had transmission and t-case issues but I think I have it all figured and I am crossing my fingers. I have put about a 13" lift on the truck and some 33" tires to help it get a bit more clearance. I trimmed out the front fenders and pounded the pinch welds so the tires dont's rub.

I really want to get this truck up and running again so I can take my son camping and hunting. He has started helping me with some of the work but he really can't do to much because he is only 3 1/2 years old. He's not alot of help, but I have the 10mm, 12mm, and 14mm wrenches color coded with tape so he can hand me the correct wrench when I need it. I also would like to get it up and going again because my wife and I need a second vehicle some times and this would provide us with another vehicle.

I have a few cool mods I have done over the years you guys might be interested in. Like a put in a bench seat out of the Toyota Tacoma, but for the most part the interior is completely stock. It still has the original Am/FM radio. I also added a custom air intake, and high performance muffler and a few other items to give the little diesel more get up and go. I also added an offroad bumper which is pretty cool. There are a few other mods, but I will just add it all to a build thread.
