Newbie from Kentucky

Postby fool on the hill » Tue Oct 26, 2010 11:39 am

Hey all, old guy newbie from Kentucky; by way of 30 years in the aerospace industry in Oklahoma and before that, a native N.Y.'er.
I am an advanced composites industry manager (high end carbon fiber products).
Air Force veteran, accomplished aerobatic pilot for over 30 years, former turbo nitrous funnybike owner/rider. Licensed Airframe and Powerplant mechanic.
Building a few projects. Daily driver is a 1980 Plymouth Arrow (Mitsubishi) pickup with a 360/904 Mopar combo in it.
Project '86 Dodge long wide truck, with a road racing suspension.
Building a 1966 Dodge Dart stretched nose doorslammer period correct funnycar/exhibition match racer for the nostalgia circuit.
'27 T roadster, and I'm developing a complete new set of body tools for a very special way to market these to the street rod industry.
When the tooling is complete, I'll build my own streetable roadster as well.
Married, kids, lotsa grandkids.
Former Class 3 weapons dealer (machine guns) still have a few in my collection.
If it makes smoke and noise and burns fossil fuel, I'm down for it.
