Welcome to the site.
We have some resident turbo guys here. One is a record holder for Boniville Salt Flats. He has one fast Max. Some where aroung 150MPH or more. I'm not sure how fast he has gone but I would bet that LSRMike will look in.
Here is my BUILD THREAD.

Welcome to the board. Glad we have another potential turbo truck member. All I can say is the 4g63 swap costed me about 1800 in parts and misc crap to get it to run. Not counting gauges and the freebies I already had. Oh, and and I had to buy more parts to replace the parts that broke, like a fried ecu, coil pack, ptm module, and others. If you are on a budget I would suggest you buy a cheap running car that was in an accident to swap parts over. Otherwise I would just do the basics like webber carb and rejet it to your liking, and ignition upgrades. Somewhere small till your ready for a money pit of at least the cost of a donor car.

The electric fan is a great idea. I would recomend a fan with low amperage draw like a flex a light that way you don't put too much of a strain on the alternator, but ofcourse that doesn't mean you can't pick up a used electric fan from theocal pick and pull scrap yard. The cam, I am not too sure if they sell any aftermarket replacements for performance. You can send in a spare to get it reground for performance with added lift and duration. Exhaust always sounds nice and you can put a k&n drop in filter. The 2.4 is a nice start for the starion or conquest turbo swap since you can use your current transmission.

I always ran 6 1/2" or 6 3/4 in my doors until I got my extended cab. But yea just make sure the mounting depth on the speaker isn't too deep and will interfere with the window. Under the door panels in the front bottom of the doors there is already an access hole, I just made that a lil bigger ancut a hole in my panels and mounted them up
