ill give you guys a little background name is nate im from nc been an active member of the truck scene for bout 5 years now. now reppin AA i started out with ther ranger and i picked up the mm as a daily when i decided to sfbd the ranger i pretty much got screwed with the first shop they trashed my truck built a 3/4 frame and did not body drop it and hacked up my wireing and under my hood all in all just a bad experiance but devin from dr fabrication has had it since july 2008 and is doin an outstanding job i decided to completely rebuild it inside out not sure when its gonna be done shootin for 2010 show season

Nate, welcome man!!! About friggin' time. Yeah, I was following the Ranger build up too but then lost track...not on SSM all the time. Then that BS about have to update membership to post more than 5 times a month. BS...I was a gold member for years, just don't get on it anymore. So there is a spot for you, like Ethan to post up your build on "other" vehicles. If it's not too much to ask, can you update your build over here on this site? Cause that ole boy doing your framework now is turning out some sick work. I remember seeing the pics in the mag right after he got the frame rolling. But these new pics with the red pinstriping makes me think original Batmobile. Sick. Good to see ya around.

Don't need a locator bar (panhard, track bar, etc) on his set up. He's running a wishbone setup on that top link. You can do the same thing with a triangulated four link. Many are going to the wishbone as you can see there is three brackets/three joints (bushings in this case) needed instead of four.

Two things to point out on his set up that is a reason why he should post up a build thread for people to learn. Notice he is running a bag over bar set up. This means the airbag is located on a link bar instead of over axle or after axle. This will provide more lift and in my opinion a softer ride! I think a bag over axle rides like shit. But notice he is running shocks and they are damn near vertical? Max just had to write about shocks in the recent MT cause for some reason there are people out there believing they don't need them. Also, I've always been taught in set up to try to get your shock to be as vertical as possible. This picture just shows the dedication, thought, and talent of owner and builder. Take notes people! This is what "RIGHT" looks like.
