Every bolt/nut/washer etc needs to be bagged and tagged so you know what goes where during assembly. Then, it is just a peice by peice game. Pictures are priceless as you can refer back to them if you forget where something goes or how it was mounted etc. Once you get all the fluff off the top and actually get the bare motor exposed, it really starts to get fun. You should totally go this route. You will be the first girl I know of to step outside of thier comfort zone and give it a shot. Like others have said, we wouldn't leave ya hanging.
Plus, you would have something cool to tell your grandkids....hahahahahaha
