Please get us more info.
What did you do first?
What have you done?
How bad is it?
What was it doing to start with?
We need the hole story. The more the better. If you can include pictures.
Thanks

replaced timing chain, ignition coil and pick up coil. i swapped an older non fbc carb on the truck. whenever you crank it over it just spits and spudders but now it wont even run. ignition timing, valve timing, and firing order are correct but still nothin. im thinkin it may not be getting enough gas but i dont know what to adjust on this older carb

you got the manual fuel pump on the side of the head by the carb or what
Chuck Norris doesnt read books, he stares them down until he gets the information he wants.

That might have somthing to do with it... Take pictures and show everyone what you find. Ane we want a FULL report on it just as soon as you can.. It will help out the next poor guy with the same thing. I think this is like the third one. The more detail the better. People like stories and pictures.

i will take photos tomorrow. i got the float level right but its still acting like its not firing, i checked spark and its blue but it doesnt look like its a big enough spark. the number 1 plug is the only one fouling out. i honestly dont have a clue as to whats wrong. everything seems to be as it should, valve timing is right and the lash is within specs, ignition timing is right and its getting fuel. i installed new chain and tensioner, coil, ignition module, plugs and wires just to rule out those things.

if u think its not gettin enough gas try pouring a splash in the carb and see if it starts that will answer the gas question.
