Has anyone done or considered swapping a 3.5 dohc from a montero or a front drive mopar? Onto an auto should work since they are all auto trans apps, or am I missing something? How about the other smaller v6s like the 2.5, 2.7, 3.2 ? I'm curious since these are plentiful in Pittsburgh yards, and a lot more power than the stock 2.6.

Theres a guy on OldColts new forum swapping in a 3.5 into a toyota wagon, Id think a D50 would have more room then that to work with :lol: tricky thing is only the Montero Sports came w/ 2wheel drive trannys. And from what I remember only the 94-96 Monteros were DOHC no clue on the sports tho. If I get the time/money/resources I plan on trying to put a 3.5 into my 3.0 powered truck that extra 50ponies would be nice.
