idler arm question

got one from autozone tonight, it doesnt have rubber dust boots on it, it had these round sponge like donut like bushings that go where the bust boots would go, do i use these? anyone know what im talking about? ive never seen anything like it before. if i need to ill take poics tomorrow

are the gonna hold up? do ya think i should take it back and buy another brand? those look like they will wear out fast
