I know that the Chrystler Aries K car has the 2.6 in them that's our engine. I think Rancho still makes a body lift kit. I have seen them befor. It looks good. Other wise you can make them your self using a longer bolt and steel box tubeing. If you wanted to get fancy you could put in a center pipe in the box tube and weld it. Then the bolt would go through the pipe and it would out last the truck. If I rember right you only can go to a 2" lift befor you need to change steering shaft adjustments and to the shifter. Only use tubeing it's mesured on the OD. a 0.120 wall is more then enough.

i had a 3" body lift on my 4x4 when it still had the 2.6 and 5 speed. i had to cut the floor out so the shifter wouldnt hit it but that can easily fixed by adding some spacers under the motor mounts and transmission mounts, i had all the stuff built and everything figured out on mine but the 2.6 crapped out and i ended up scrappin the stuff. the driveshaft angles were no problem at all...it all came down to alittle customizing. you have to take looks the screws that hold the brake lines to the fenders or else it will try to stretch the shyt out of them

only for two years-87 and 88 I believe. Starting in 1989 they used their own 2606 cc engine, with fuel injection, with no relation to the G54B.

Yes mazda did use a 2.6 for 87-88 they are identical to the mitsu. The real find is the manual bell housing; it unbolts and allows you to swap a mazda rx-7 tranny into the truck or conquest. I will post the link when I find it again.

yeah for the 3" body lift you have to do some modifying...the shifter hits the trans tunnel...its really no big deal but you have to mod to shift gears
