fire wall tubbing

fire wall tubbing

how much tubbing of the firewall is needed to lay out on lets say a 215/35/18.. its 23.? inches tall....im not quite ready to bag it yet, just getting my info together.

the stock tires are 26" tall, so height will not be the problem. The width and offset of the rim is the determining factor here. Are you doing a 1st (79-86) gen or 2nd gen 87 up?

its a 91 MM, i have 215/45/17 caddy wheels on it now, i will be doing a 5 lug swap in the future and prolly get 18s, i was mainly just woundering about the firewall tubing. so to lay frame a 25 inch tire requires no tubbing of the firewall? i know ill prolly body it the next winter and im sure i will have to then, so i might just do it, im just trying to get all my shiiiit together for the winter teardown

my truck is bagged on a 24" tall tire and i didnt have to tub the fire wall. you will have to cut the inner fenders though.
