Oh ya its nebraska, we usually get one or two good snows in may. Woke up this morning with about 3" of wet snow on the ground.

I tried the diesel swap. 84 diesel to 84 gas. 5 spd 4x4. was bolt up and working...then the motor acted up and now can't get to run for the life of me. Now i have an original 84 diesel 5spd 4x4 and using good parts for my new diesel. Mainly interior and new fenders. I would do like Mike suggest and try to salvage the truck or find another and use parts to make a good one. As for going newer wiring into dash may be a challenge but Tye can answer that stuff. Nebraska huh? I live sorta southwest nebraska by kansas border.
