diesel conversion

Hey guys, have a 94 4x4 3.0 mighty max r/c i pick-up the other day. If wanting to convert to a diesel, is this fairly easy to do on these trucks? any kits that can be bought..etc? The truck is a 5 speed, will this tranny matt up to the older diesels used for this truck?
