I have some of those tires in that exact size. I don't see why you wouldn't be able to fit them with a t-bar crank. Not sure about the sway-away bars, i didn't even know anyone made after market t-bars for these trucks.

Don't forget that John Baker sold aftermarket torsion bars back in the day - he had to get them somewhere.

I got a buddy that has some tires that size i guess i will try them and see how it goes. The sway-away bars are specific to the d50 according to their website but there are kinda expensive. I have heard about john baker offering stuff for these trucks but i can't find any information about him or any products. Got any idea where i can find any of his bars? Thanks for all the help

You aren't going to find any Baker parts advertised for sale unless it's from a private party. Baker has been out of the D50 scene for many years.

Baker probably believes the same thing I believe Mike. Most people who own a D50 only own it cause they got it for a couple hundred and would never spend money on decent upgrades. Best upgrade they would do is Bondo to fill a hole in the dash!

switching t-bars arnt going to raise yourtruck any more then cranking them there is a bump stop on the upper a-arm that limits the downward movement
