Hubs to big for new wheels

I bought some 16x8 pacer bullet hole wheels from a friend and not thinking when i went to put them on the hub for the automatic four wheel drive is to big for the wheel? What are my options. Can i change the hubs to smaller ones or are manual hubs smaller. And on the back does the axle hub looking thing have to stick through the new wheels also? I really like the wheels and would love to make them fit.

Take em to a machinist and tell him to bore them out to a certain diameter.

Some say aluminum wheels are prone to cracking afterwards, I have a set of aluminums that I got bored out on my 2wd right meow, had em on a month or so no problems yet.

I was lucky enough to be working in a shop when I bought some used wheels. I picked up a 4-3/16" hole saw for $30 and stuck it in a milling machine with the rims bolted to a wood block. I can tell you it cut fine, but there's no way you could do it by hand. You could probably do it with a big enough drill press. I had called a machine shop and they were going to be too expensive. It's not very hard to do with the right tools, so don't let them make it sound like rocket science to beat you up on price.
