89 Power Ram 50 speaker sizes?

Postby 89powerram » Mon Dec 06, 2010 6:17 pm

Can anyone tell me what size speakers are in my 89 Power Ram reg cab 4x4? I just bought it and the radio and speakers need replacing and was just wanting to know the sizes so I can purchase the speakers then do everything at once rather then take them out then go out and purchase then install new ones.

Thanks

Also... to remove the stock radio.. Do I take out the four philips screws that are holding the plastic casing piece in then what... pull off the heater knobs and pull the whole plastic piece out? Or what is the proper way?? I dont want to try that and end up breaking something if thats not the way.

Also getting access to remove the dash speakers, do I just pry the covers off?

Thanks a bunch!

yep pull the screws and all knobs. Just work it careful and look for things. There not to hard to remove. The cig. lighter has a plug on the back of it.

The vents are a little tricky. I came close to cracking the bezzel while taking mines out. Kinda gotta pry down a bit for the tabs to clear the vent.
