Speaker question

Hey guys i was looking to see if this trk had speakers in the back like my old 87 spx but there isn't, but there is a indention in the metal can i cut this out? and what would fit?

I have not thought of that. I was just planning to install a small amplifier and a small bazooka tube. I never saw the need for rear speakers. Hope others would enlighten us.

i put speakers in there in my truck. most speakers come with a template to cut the hole with. and i just ran the wire under my carpet to where my seat belt bolts to the post.

The truck i'm looking to buy already has speakers in that spot, i don't know what size they are but here is a picture of it.

You can fit 6 1/2" for sure, maybe 6 3/4"

Yah, there is no holes in the doors for speakers, i've checked. you'll have to make your own. and you probably already know, but there are speakers in the dash. just lettin you know

I put them in the front lower portion of the door, I use 6 1/2", and there is already a opening in the door I use I just enlarge it in a few spots for the speaker to fit through. I can take a pic tomorrow if you want of where I put mine
