First Gen Mirrors

Postby parrell456 » Tue May 11, 2010 4:18 pm

Ok, so I take my mirrors off yesterday, and they basically crumbled in my hands! The mirror housings were cracked and the internals for adjusting them were in pieces.

I'm looking for both the driver and the passenger side mirrors for a first gen D50, the type that mount directly onto the door with 2 screws.

Maybe they're considered the "Sport" mirrors? I have no idea, but my truck is a Sport...

Thanks for your help!

Dude you have got a problem. They are hard to find. They should look like the ones on my avitar. The only reason I have mine is I keep it in the garage or coverd up. 30 year old plastic.

Hey, sorry it took me this long to reply! Here is a link to my CarDomain page (arranged on a single page, thankfully).

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2055804/1 ... e-mini-ram

There are a few pictures there that you can tell just what the mirrors are like. They're pretty slim and square.
Of course I appreciate any help I can get, but at the same time I realize and agree with camoit that I may be in for a long search, possibly with no end...

Nevertheless, thanks again for the help MightyRam50!
