ive seen the 2.6 head on 2.3 block, but im going to be using a complete 2.6 with a 2.3L trans, flywheel, and clutch. I'd imagine putting the 2.6 head on the 2.3 would drop the compression. But both motors already have a pretty good compression ratio for boost. you can also take the 2.6 manifold and make the 2.3L fuel injected. I still havent found pistons for it, i've read about people using EJ20 pistons but havent found much info about it.
