well tonight was eventful, we caught 6 sharks total, 3 small ones 2 medium and a giant one. The big one i would say AT LEAST 7 feet long. We think it was a bull shark but we're not to sure, we held it at the top of the water while waiting for a friend to get the gaff, tried getting him with the gaff a couple times but it started to fight and snapped the line, which by the way was only 40lb test. This was EASILY a 60-70lb shark. I got a couple pics of the smaller ones to show though.

What do ya'll do with the sharks after you catch them?I tried eating some once, but I wasn't very impressed with it though.Do you keep them or throw them back?
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you it's yours to keep.If it doesn't come back, hunt it down..and kill it

Your supposed to soak the shark in MILK prior to cooking... it takes out the bad taste... then it tastes like fish. But if I catch a shark I give it a few small cuts down it's side (to bleed) and throw it back for the other sharks to eat.

we sometimes do as rusty said and cut them a bit and throw em back, some of the smaller ones we use for bait for the big ones, any medium to large sharks usually get cut up for my buddies to eat. Im not much for seafood myself.
