If you had a choice would you buy a new car or build it?

Has any body seen this car? You buy and build it at one of the shops around the country. They run around $50,000 thats the same price as a new Ford F250. But it is way cooler. http://www.local-motors.com/buy.php?p=1




I talked to Local Motors today. There is only the one car. The one you see. They are working on the second one right now. They are moving to Phoenix Az. I asked them if they have any frames for sale or are planning on selling any you weld it kits. No such luck. They don’t even have any jigs made and the front suspension is un-finished at this time.
It has a BMW 6cyl diesel. If you buy one you go to there place for two weeks and help build the car. Then you drive it home. For the two weeks you work on the car you put in the engine, front and rear end plug in the wires of the harness things like that.

if I remember correctly they are BMW powered....may be wrong though.
