I thought it was about time I started a build thread on here. The truck has loads of history and I'll bore you all with most of it :shifty:

My brother bought the truck over 4 years ago. It was a little rusty, but the engine was sweet. He bought it to start doing his own tree work.

As soon as we got it home we rubbed it down and gave it to my mate for a quick cheap spray job, just to tart it up for work.

After a year or so of hard work it started burning oil, so we bought a replacement engine. The seller ripped us off with a old heap that burned more oil than the original engine. It took 8 months and a court appearance to fix things...then the carb died

I bought him a 38/38 weber from your side of the pond and slapped it on.

In ran, but there was some horriblem hesitation from low down in the rev range when WOT. My bro gave up on it and it sat unused for 6months.

I promised to get her running perfectly and sort out a few other issues for a 50% share

So I fitted an electric fuel pump, pressure regulator and MSD 6AL-2 (+ coil). It was the MSD which solved the hesitation and she runs perfectly

These are the current wheels.

I'm halfway through prep'ing them for paint.

I dropped the rear a little, but it needs a bit more to level out.

I'm thinking about pulling the middle leaf spring when I find some decent shocks.

I used to have a 350bhp S14a 200sx and really miss the power (I have a 2.5TDCI Ford Ranger at the mo). So once all the bodywork and interior is completed (its a 2 year project) I'm going to find a crash damaged EVO and swap the engine in.

I'm hoping to fit a Pajero or Shogun LSD this year and some EVO recaro buckets.

damn that 200sx is nice. My buddy had one like it here in the states but now he's gone back to the 95 body style.
