are you gonna ahead and cut a inch out of your lower control arms while your that far into it?
1988 mighty max, bagged, body dropped, RHD, under total reconstruction

1997 2wd 4dr dually. project to be.. 6.5 diesel layin frame on some 22in alcoa (soon)

ok I'm not fermiliar with the uniballs so please school me, and no on the c.a. If I understand what u mean I am goin a different route. If that is how u did yours post some pics cause I would like to see it ,thats is an intresting way.

Ok so I have to add to the story that after I had already finished welding the upper and lower control arms I found out the 18's I had been runnin and was planing on using after the bag job weren't ganna work cause the back didn't tuck. Sucks!!!!
So the plan for the project needed to be modified with that being said I went and got second job at hooters just to pay for the new set of 20's I wanted. So with tucking the 20's I added some drop spindles and re-did another pair of control arms to bring the spindle to 25 1/2" (13 1/2" for half the 27" tire plus 12" for frame to ground height).

ok now that I have found the location for the bottom and top bag mounts and the upper control arm mount I started revese mocking to them so I could then build to where they need to be.

Now I'm ready to make the new parts and fab up to the mocks. Here is what I need to mach to. these are basicaly the actual control arm side and the top of bag thats represented.

with both sides now done its time replace the strut arm assembly with a custom lower control arm now. First I made a tool to give me the spacing then I started making the brackets.
