Lowering

Postby eastwood » Sat Oct 23, 2010 5:58 pm

Im from NZ and got a 1985 Mitsubishi L200, same as the 1st generation d50 or mighty max.

the plan is to keep it stock, but lower the f@#k out of it.

My question is what would be the best way to lower the front? Compressed? lowering springs? cut?

aslo, if i do lower the front end, would i have to modify anything else?

Im semi noob, this is my first 'project' car. . .

Any help or suggestions would be great

This is a test since I changed the catogary. Please try to add a reply. If you can not please send me a PM.
Thank you.

At least you have access to a welder. You will need one if you go any way other then lowering spindles and blocks.

For the front I would throw some 2" lowering spindles on it, which can only be bought from airbagit.com. if you want it lower throw some 2.5" lowering coils from the same place. For the back throw on some 4" bloxks and if u want it lower pull out the middle leaf to get another two inches
