Brake booster

Brake booster

Postby MightyG54BTMax » Sun Sep 20, 2009 4:04 pm

Any one have pics of a brake booster off a 2nd gen 2wd 2.0 (don't know if all that stuff matters)? It would be even better if anyone had measurements of the spacing between the 4 bolts it mounts with. I don't want to take mine off if my Frankenbrake idea isnt going to work from the get go.

Im thinking of running my conquest master cylinder for the bigger bore, but the master mounting holes are in the opposite position of the trucks (up and down on the conquest and left and right on the truck).

Spacing between bottom two studs is ~3 1/8", spacing between bottom and top stud is ~ 2 3/8". I snapped a pic of the brake booster from front of truck if you want that also?

Or you can use a 1st gen d-50 booster- they are both up and down mount. Don't know if there is a difference between mounting pattern though.
