V8 Swap?

Well like the title says im plannin on doin a v8 swap had a running 302 and aod trans fall in my lap i've been messin with the 2.0 for over a year tryin to get it right and im done with it so i figured i try a v8 before i give up on the truck Any body ever swapped in a v8 lookin for all the advice i can get.

I WAS CONSERING DOING THIS BUT DECIDED I DIDNT WANT TO HACK MY TRUCK THAT MUCH ...THE EASIEST V8 SWAP FOR THE 1ST GENS IS THE SMALL BLOCK CHRYSLER/ 904 COMBO ...THE 1ST GENS W/ A AUTOMATIC CAME WITH A CHRYSLER 904 TRANS W/ A MITSU BOLT PATTERN ..SO JUST GET A 360 SMALL BLOCK(OR A MAGNUM) AND A SMALL BLOCK 904 FROM ANY OLDER CHRYSLER VEHICLE AND USE IT ...THE FACTORY SHIFTER ,DRIVESHAFT AND MOUNT EVEN WORK... THERE USED TO BE A WEBSITE WITH A FORUM FOR THIS BUT IT'S DEAD NOW .. I CAN GET YOU IN TOUCH WITH A GUY WHO HAS DONE SERVERAL ...

preciate the heads up, its not a first gen i have an 88 but at any rate i dont mind hackin up th fire wall to make it work i seriously considered keepin it in the chrysler family but i got this 302 for a deal i could not pass up.

I GOT A DEAL ON THE ONE I HAD 2 ... YOU GOT TO USE OR MAKE HEADERS AND SHIT .. THE CHRYSLER STUFF YOU CAN USE STK TRUCK MANIFOLDS OR CENTER DUMP BLOCK HUGGERS TALK TO THE GUY MENTIONED EARLIER HE CAN HELP YOU OUT IF YOU ARE DEAD SET ON THE FORD STUFF ....
