smoking problems

ok about like 2 or 3 months ago i got my truck fixed it was sitting for about 4 years and it was fixed and wasnt smoking when i took it home from the shop but now its smoking and the smoke is white (if that helps any) what can i do to make it stop?? any help would be great

replace the head gasket and look for water in the oil.

replace the valve stem seals mitsubishi valve stem seals are junk

If your truck was sitting for about four years, and you just now got it out and started driving it, chances are you have a broken piston ring. If it didnt smoke at first, and all of a sudden started smoking, yes, it is very possible.
