Federal pump vs California

Federal pump vs California

Postby DavetheDude » Wed Sep 30, 2009 7:33 am

All you diesel guys. I know this subject was hashed about on the other site but I need some advice before I spend some serious money. I have a California pump on my diesel now but am considering getting the Federal pump that I also have, rebuilt and installing it on my pu. The pump I have on now runs fine and I get a constant 25 mpg. Am I going to see any increase in mpg or power with the federal pump? If it is only going to be a marginal increase I won't spend the money. If it will be 5mpg+ and an increase in power, I'll do it. I know a lot of claims have been made, but what have you guys actually seen. Thanks for an info.
